Controller and contact
Prosper Custom Labels is operated by Zake Ventures Ltd trading as Prosper Online, registered in England and Wales under company number 13884341. Registered office: Royal House, 110 Station Parade, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 1EP, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
Data processed
The app reads Shopify product, variant, inventory, tag, pricing, and product-metafield data required to evaluate merchant-configured label rules. It writes only the five Google custom-label product metafields selected by the merchant.
It stores the store domain and app-specific installation details; five label configurations and ordered rule cases; compact run summaries and samples; catalog, billing and operational metadata; duplicate-prevention webhook identifiers; and support correspondence.
Data not collected
The app does not request or store customer records, orders, payment card details, Google credentials, Merchant Center data, Google Ads campaign data, storefront visitor behaviour, tracking pixels, or theme data.
Purposes and lawful bases
Data is used to configure, validate, preview, publish and maintain labels; enforce plan limits; provide support; secure and improve reliability; prevent duplicate webhook processing; and meet Shopify and legal obligations. Expected lawful bases include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent for optional support material.
Sharing and international transfers
Store data is not sold or used for third-party advertising. It may be processed by Shopify; Prosper-managed hosting, database, job, log, storage and backup infrastructure; and support and email providers. International transfers use applicable legal safeguards.
Retention and uninstall
Uninstall stops future writes, marks the app-specific token inactive, and pauses active label configurations. Product metafield definitions and values remain in Shopify. Shopify's shop-redaction webhook deletes Google Labels configuration, run, session, installation and webhook-delivery records without deleting another Prosper app's active shop record.
Merchant rights
Merchants can contact Prosper Online to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Automated processing
The app evaluates merchant-configured product rules and updates product metafields. It does not make automated decisions about individuals with legal or similarly significant effects.
