Do I need Google Merchant Center?

Yes. Merchant Center is where your product feed lives. Without it, Shopping Ads cannot run. We set up, validate and maintain it as part of Shopping management.

What makes a product feed perform better?

Clear titles, complete attributes, accurate pricing, clean product types, GTINs where available, useful custom labels and fast resolution of product disapprovals.

Should I run Standard Shopping or Performance Max?

Both can work. Standard Shopping gives more control and visibility; Performance Max can scale across Google's inventory. Many ecommerce accounts need a considered mix.
